There wasn’t any hero’s welcome.
No parades, no cheering crowds, no confetti, no citation from the president, “Thank you, you did a good job.”
No.
Nothing at all.
It was my mangled, clenched fist that fought for everything; my hopes that lay wasted on tear-soaked shoulders; my concern that hovers silently over deafened ears.
Still, there were no thanks, though…never asked for any…
The princess needed saving and that was enough.
So here I am, a veteran of the battlefield; just a damn old tired soldier, sent out to fight again and again. Not for me to question why…
Sorry for keeping this a big secret from you guys for a while now but yep, I’ve been hard at work making a short film!
It’s somewhat my return to indie filming so it’s kind of a big deal for me, haha. Anyways, I’ve been sick for a while but I wanted to finish a project that fully encompasses everything that I know now, my skill in directing, action, fight choreography, and acting.
I hope it doesn’t disappoint you all.
Anyways, please stay tuned as we are almost finished with the film!
Well, this was a dud project since my card decided to crap on me during the weekend….and I didn’t feel like scrapping the footage so I edited what I can with it. My intention wasn’t a promo video this time but a mini-documentary that kinda shows the gaming subculture of video game tournaments. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy it.

And Joey (aka Faiz) participates in a launch party tournament held by the awesome staff of Atomic City Comics in South Street, Philly.
Joey Min of Art School Dropouts stops in and participates at the tournament held by Atomic City Comics in South Street, Philly for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. It was a great turnout and even though I didn’t get to win, I got to play with some really great people and had some great matches. Semi-finals at least, right? Haha.
Thank you for those that ran the tournament and those that played.
For the girl this is meant for…
I hope you understand that this is more than just words; that I finally could say what my heart and soul have been telling me ever since I met you, and that, even though I cannot promise you forever, nor guarantee you the world, I can only hope that you see what I am and what I offer: to love you with no regret and no hesitation, always and forever.
Wherever you are and whatever has or will happen to us, you will forever have a piece of my heart.
Hey! What’s going on everyone?
Well, let me be the first to say that this week has been a terrible nightmare with this snowstorm kicking up in the north east coast! Can you believe that NY actually got more snow than Anchorage, Alaska THIS WINTER?
Crazy, crazy.
But no fear! I have been keeping busy (besides this video, I built an igloo with a neighborhood kid. Yeah, I think I’m creepy too.) and this video is for a promo that I made for my super awesome, talented, and beautiful friend, Andrei Guth. She’s an amazing makeup artist and I filmed a photoshoot of hers to promote her work! So please check it out, check out her channel and watch her vids, and subscribe to the both of us!
Man, so I just finished working on a project that took me 4 days straight to complete. YEESH. So what do I do to wind down?
Make a goofy video with my awesome friend and another Art School Dropout, Christian Crosby.

Hey hey everyone! I’m kinda putting together a little holiday video but with this blizzard that hit us, a lot of my plans were canceled….so I dunno if I have enough footage to make one for you guys….
But here’s something to pass the time! My good friend, Devin, and I thought of this particular web series that we’re going to be doing from time to time! It’s basically us playing HORRIBLY online on Xbox! Here’s the first episode, hope you all enjoy!
