don’t these colors look great? do you think i would spend any time picking them out? of course not. and you don’t want to think about colors either. you’re putting together a website for some god awful company run by a man in suspenders. meanwhile you’re trying to tell him that he needs more unique hits, but he’s only concerned that obama is going to take away his television. pictaculous has a great new color tool to work with, allowing you to look at the dominant colors you’ll be needing when matching flat color swatches to a photograph. simple color brochures, website buttons and even posterwork could benefit from this…
the generator works as such… you browse the photo you want, it takes all that glorious color information, and it spits out something that actually makes sense. the main palette is great, however, the other suggestions given don’t make much sense. go with the main one and you should be fine.

…That’s a nice app you’ve found. It looks like it’ll also be pretty handy for making pallet swaps for game sprites or for my leet avatars and sigs…
