No heroes.

There wasn’t any hero’s welcome.
No parades, no cheering crowds, no confetti, no citation from the president, “Thank you, you did a good job.”

No.
Nothing at all.

It was my mangled, clenched fist that fought for everything; my hopes that lay wasted on tear-soaked shoulders; my concern that hovers silently over deafened ears.

Still, there were no thanks, though…never asked for any…
The princess needed saving and that was enough.

So here I am, a veteran of the battlefield; just a damn old tired soldier, sent out to fight again and again. Not for me to question why…

Act of Fate – Trailer

Sorry for keeping this a big secret from you guys for a while now but yep, I’ve been hard at work making a short film!
It’s somewhat my return to indie filming so it’s kind of a big deal for me, haha. Anyways, I’ve been sick for a while but I wanted to finish a project that fully encompasses everything that I know now, my skill in directing, action, fight choreography, and acting.

I hope it doesn’t disappoint you all.

But no fear! I have been keeping busy (besides this video, I built an igloo with a neighborhood kid. Yeah, I think I’m creepy too.) and this video is for a promo that I made for my super awesome, talented, and beautiful friend, Andrei Guth. Art School Dropouts at “Who Da Nastiest!? – Bboy Battle Event 12-11-10″

Hey everyone! I was invited to Who Da Nastiest!?, a bboy battle event that happened on 12-11-10 right in Stratford, New Jersey to film a promo for the event. It’s a pretty momentous occasion as it is the “biggest” bboy event that happened here in south Jersey. It was a pretty badass night with amazing talent filling up the halls of the place. I wanna thank all the staff that ran the event and congratulate them on an amazing night!

Well, shortly after editing this, I got hit by nostalgia as I used to break back in the day, so I decided to just get down and see what I can do still after so many years of not practicing.

Hey, hopefully I get back into the swing of things by updating this blog but you know, life gets in the way of things.
Anyways, this was a video a fellow friend and I edited a few weeks back.

Yep, I think it’s something like a blogsite for Philly.

Anyways, I filmed their launch party last night in G-Lounge up until I was harassed by security for filming DESPITE me being sanctioned to be there. Meh, well I’ll edit as best as I can with the footage I have I guess. Kinda had a rough night and today didn’t help (not so happy news from my doctor) but yeah, at least a few people wanted my contact information last night. Hopefully that leads into something, eh?

Honestly, I have written and rewritten this blog post for the past weeks because I guess I had my male period. Fucking conflicting feelings of both high and low have reedited this post so I guess I’ll try to sum everything that I’ve felt throughout this two weeks. It’s also partly the reason why I’ve been busy for a while, been sorting out life changing decisions at this time for me. I just realized that everyone has been moving on at their own pace and because I’ve started my life much faster than most of my friends, I reach crossroads much sooner and much more different than my friends, and all I can do is to travel it on my own. I’ve always known I march to a different drum, but people often forget that it’s quite a lonely beat.

This past few weeks just made me realize that even more.
